Bipolar Disorder with Depression Study

ALTO-100 as a Treatment for Bipolar I or II disorder with Major Depressive Episode

Michigan Clinical Research Institute is conducting a clinical research study for adults ages 18-70 with Bipolar Disorder who are currently experiencing a major depressive episode (MDE) and are currently taking mood stabilizer and/or an approved antipsychotic for bipolar disorder.

An individual may qualify for the study if they:

  • Are 18 to 70 years of age
  • Subjects with a diagnosis of bipolar I or II and currently experiencing an MDE 
  • Subject is currently on treatment with a single mood stabilizer (lithium, valproate, or lamotrigine) and/or an approved antipsychotic for bipolar disorder
    Have not had enough improvement on your current medication
  • Meet additional study criteria

Reimbursement for reasonable, out-of-pocket expenses such as travel and accommodations may be available to qualified individuals.
